he repair of the chimney ceiling involved the installation of prefabricated concrete elements designed to restore structural integrity.Damaged sections of the boilerwork were dismantled and fully reconstructed to ensure safety and functionality.The works were carried out with strict adherence to technical standards and quality requirements.Special attention was given to durability and resistance to high operating conditions.These repairs contributed to extending the service life and reliability of the chimney system.

The chimney and refractory works comprised the pouring of concrete using vibrated formwork and shotcrete for the roof and sidewalls of the heating hood of the grey cement rotary kiln. Additional shotcrete was applied to the vault and periphery of the kiln, while vibrated formwork was also executed for the spoon and feed chute floor. The project further included refractory masonry works to strengthen and protect the grey cement rotary kiln, ensuring its reliability and durability.

Furnishing and refractory works, including the pouring of vibrated concrete on the circular surface of the nose-ring of the grey rotary cement kiln. Installation of cut bricks with clamping plates, both transverse and simple. First installation in Algeria of AGE bricks with mortar in the firing zone of a 5mL grey cement rotary kiln.

THE PROJECT INCLUDED THE INSTALLATION OF MORE THAN 3,500 TONS OF CASTABLE AND BRICKWORK FOR THE 3RD PRODUCTION LINE OF GREY CEMENT AT THE ECDE GICA GROUP PLANT, WITH A CAPACITY OF 6,000 T/DAY IN KHENCHELA. THE SCOPE OF WORKS COVERED: CASTING AND VIBRATION WORKS FOR THE COOLER, KILN HOOD, KILN INLET, PRECALCINER, AND TERTIARY AIR DUCT. CASTING AND VIBRATION WORKS FOR CYCLONES C5, C4, C3, C2, AND C1. BRICKLAYING OF THE ROTARY KILN, 76 METERS IN LENGTH. CASTING AND VIBRATION WORKS FOR THE KILN INLET SEAL AND SMOKE BOX. CASTING AND VIBRATION WORKS FOR THE MIXING CHAMBER, MIXING DUCT, AND GAS AND MATERIAL DUCTS.

CEMENT ELEVATOR MAINTENANCE AND SILO CLEANING. DRAINING OF CEMENT ELEVATORS, INCLUDING MAINTENANCE OF ELEVATOR BOTTOMS. EMPTYING OF SILOS WITH REMOVAL OF MATERIAL FOR RECYCLING. REPAIR OF MATERIAL TRANSPORT BOXES WITH COMPLETE REPLACEMENT OF THE LINING.

REFRACTORY AND MASONRY WORKS CONSISTING OF THE REPAIR OF THE GAS DUCT LINING OF THE ROTARY CEMENT KILN. THE WORKS INCLUDED THE DEMOLITION OF THE REFRACTORY CONCRETE LINING OF THE 9-METER ROTARY KILN GAS DUCT, FOLLOWED BY CASTABLE VIBRATION CONCRETING OF THE DUCT WITH ANCHORING WELDS.

REFRACTORY, MASONRY, AND BOILER-MAKING WORKS CARRIED OUT ON THE ROTARY CEMENT KILN AND THE TERTIARY AIR DUCT. THE PROJECT INCLUDED BRICKLAYING AND REROUTING OVER 24 METERS, INVOLVING THE DISMANTLING AND CLEANING OF THE KILN. MASONRY WORKS WERE EXECUTED WITH MORTAR OVER 5 METERS AND WITHOUT MORTAR OVER 19 METERS. IN ADDITION, THE DAMAGED SHEET LINING OF THE CLAY DUCT WAS REPLACED WITH REFRACTORY CASTABLE CONCRETE.

REFRACTORY AND MASONRY WORKS CONSISTING OF THE REPAIR OF THE HOT GAS GENERATOR FOR THE CEMENT GRINDING UNIT. THE ACTIVITIES INCLUDED THE INSTALLATION AND WELDING OF THE RETAINING RING, AS WELL AS THE REPLACEMENT OF BRICKS IN CRITICAL AREAS WITH REFRACTORY CASTABLE CONCRETE.

REFRACTORY AND MASONRY WORKS CONSISTING OF THE REPAIR OF HOT SPOTS ON THE KILN AND THE LINING OF THE TERTIARY AIR DUCT. THE ACTIVITIES INCLUDED DISMANTLING AND REROUTING BETWEEN POINTS 23–25 M, MASONRY WORKS WITHIN THE SAME SECTION, AND THE RECONSTRUCTION OF A BRICK PARTITION ON THE CLADDING OF THE TERTIARY ZONE.

ANNUAL KILN SHUTDOWN - REFRACTORY, MASONRY, AND BOILER-MAKING WORKS. THE SCOPE INCLUDED 4.10 METERS OF BRICKLAYING INSIDE THE KILN, AS WELL AS THE CLEANING AND REMOVAL OF MATERIAL FROM A COOLING ZONE AND A SMOKE BOX COVERING 42.5 M². ADDITIONAL WORKS INVOLVED CASTING AND VIBRATING GUNITING OF THE CASTING BOX AND COOLER, ALONG WITH THE REPLACEMENT OF 11 M² OF DAMAGED STEEL PLATES, INCLUDING THE WELDING OF NEW ANCHORS.

Mechanical repair works carried out during the annual kiln shutdown, focusing on the replacement of mechanical parts of the rotary kiln inlet seal. The activities included the replacement of kiln inlet sectors with 36 new ones.

MECHANICAL REPAIR AND BOILER-MAKING WORKS ON THE BURNER CASING FOLLOWING A DEFORMATION OF THE TRUNCATED CONE SECTION (1.5 M LENGTH – 10 MM THICKNESS – 600 MM DIAMETER). THE WORKS INCLUDED CUTTING AND REMOVING THE DEFORMED SECTION AND INSTALLING A NEW ONE.

MECHANICAL REPAIR AND BOILER-MAKING WORKS ON THE BURNER CASING FOLLOWING A DEFORMATION IN THE MIDDLE OF A TRUNCATED CONE SECTION (1.5 M LENGTH – 10 MM THICKNESS – 600 MM DIAMETER). THE WORKS INCLUDED CUTTING AND REMOVING THE DEFORMED PART AND REPLACING IT.

Fabrication, supply, and installation of a steel structure for a 180-meter-long conveyor belt, with a total weight of 106 tons. The works included the fabrication of steel structure components in our workshops and on-site assembly.

INSTALLATION OF TWO PALLETIZING LINES WITH TWO FORKLIFT LINES FOR CEMENT LOAD DISPATCH. THE WORKS INCLUDED THE RECEPTION AND INSPECTION OF EQUIPMENT AT THE CLIENT'S SITE ACCORDING TO THE PACKING LIST OF 21 CONTAINERS, AND THE COMPLETE MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY.

Refratech achieved a turnover of 15,203 KDA during the first 8 months of 2025 by providing refractory workers, mechanics and welders for various maintenance works at EL SHARIKA EL DJAZAIRIA EL OMANIA LIL ASMIDA "AOA-SPA" plant.

Works: Refractory drying intervention. Installation of a drying system (burner, hot air ducts, flow and temperature control register, etc.). Refractory works on furnace 101 B of the Ammonia unit at the Annaba site. Supply of refractory mortar.

Refractory services and maintenance for industrial complexes.

Refractory repair work (Guniting, Vibrated casting and anchor welding) at the RFCC unit of the Algiers refinery.

Rehabilitation of the insulation system for the two oil kilns of the GP2Z complex.

Primary - Reformer Expansion Bellows 203B001/ 203B002. Project management included: formalized planning and preparation for each area, safety and quality procedures, refractory assembly methods, human and material organization, assembly plans preparation, packing lists, materials preparation. Site organization, daily and weekly safety reports, daily progress reports, validation and handover of each zone. Work completed on time with quality and safety to the satisfaction of Sorfert Algeria SPA.

Refratech achieved a turnover of 15,203 KDA during the first 8 months of 2025 by providing refractory workers, mechanics and welders for various maintenance works at EL SHARIKA EL DJAZAIRIA EL OMANIA LIL ASMIDA "AOA-SPA" plant.

The works included maintenance and repair operations on various industrial furnaces.Specialized interventions were performed to restore furnace efficiency and prolong service life.The project also involved the supply of high-performance refractory concrete.These materials were selected for their resistance to high thermal and mechanical stresses.Together, these actions ensured durability, safety, and reliability of the furnaces in operation.

Works: A turnover of 12,487 KDA from several interventions performed by our team of 14 Refratech operators on refractory works at the furnaces of the TOSYALI round iron plant in Oran during the first 8 months of 2025.
