The chimney and refractory works comprised the pouring of concrete using vibrated formwork and shotcrete for the roof and sidewalls of the heating hood of the grey cement rotary kiln. Additional shotcrete was applied to the vault and periphery of the kiln, while vibrated formwork was also executed for the spoon and feed chute floor. The project further included refractory masonry works to strengthen and protect the grey cement rotary kiln, ensuring its reliability and durability.

Furnishing and refractory works, including the pouring of vibrated concrete on the circular surface of the nose-ring of the grey rotary cement kiln. Installation of cut bricks with clamping plates, both transverse and simple. First installation in Algeria of AGE bricks with mortar in the firing zone of a 5mL grey cement rotary kiln.

In addition, all required equipment was provided to ensure the safe and efficient execution of the works in full compliance with industry standards.

Furnace and refractory works were carried out on the ammonia and urea production furnace, covering several critical components. The scope included the application of vibrated castable concrete and primary guniting on the Reformer Bellows (2038001 / 2038203), vibrated castable concrete and guniting on the Steam Super Heater (203E002), as well as refractory works with vibrated castable concrete and guniting on the Process Gas Cooler (2038).

Furnace and refractory works were carried out on the ammonia and urea production furnace, covering the following components: vibrated castable concrete and primary guniting on the Reformer Bellows (2038001 / 2038203); vibrated castable concrete and guniting on the Steam Super Heater (203E002); and vibrated castable concrete with guniting on the Process Gas Cooler (2038).

A refractory drying intervention was carried out, including the installation of a complete drying system comprising a burner, hot air ducts, as well as flow and temperature control dampers. In addition, furnace works were performed on Furnace 101 B of the Ammonia Unit at the client’s site in Annaba, with the supply and application of refractory mortar.

The works included maintenance and repair operations on various industrial furnaces.Specialized interventions were performed to restore furnace efficiency and prolong service life.The project also involved the supply of high-performance refractory concrete.These materials were selected for their resistance to high thermal and mechanical stresses.Together, these actions ensured durability, safety, and reliability of the furnaces in operation.

A turnover of 12,487 KDA was achieved through several interventions carried out by our team of 14 Réfratech specialists. These works involved refractory maintenance and repairs on the furnaces of the TOSYALI rebar plant in Oran during the first eight months of 2025.

Shutdown program for maintenance works of the DRP Unit (Lot 05) of the AQS Complex, including the supply of refractory concretes and refractory repairs of the DRI shaft furnaces, the refractory-lined duct of the DRI furnace, and the DRI unit of the AQS Complex.

The industrial mechanical assembly and installation of the new line included the assembly of new dryers with connection to the existing dryer, the complete installation of the compressed air piping network, and the assembly of belt conveyors. The works also comprised the erection of a multi-storey preparation tower incorporating the steel structure and mechanical equipment, the development of a finished product recovery area (plasterboard), the renovation of the combustion chamber, and the extension of the electrical room.

A turnover of 7,278 KDA was achieved during the first eight months of 2025 through the interventions of our team of 14 Réfratech specialists on the refractory refurbishment works of the furnace at the SARL TAOUAB plaster plant in M’Sila, as well as by our team of 6 specialists on the refractory repair works of the furnace at the plaster plant in the wilaya of Ouled Djellal.

The works included the supply of refractories, the installation of maintenance refractories, and mechanical maintenance operations.
